Look: Verdigris Mermaid

I spent a few days last week feeling completely miserable, as if I were hearing and seeing things from underwater. So, I decided that I should be a mermaid because mermaids can't drown.

I have about a million different tiny pots of mineral eyeshadows, all separated by colour into various containers. Since I've been too lazy to label the outside of the boxes, I usually end up going through every single box before I finally find the one I'm looking for. I was actually looking for the box with the blue shades this time but hit the green instead and found myself drawn in by Dawn Eyes Jaded. It's a really stunning apple-green jade with bits of purple, copper, and gold sparkle. Well, I thought, green is just as mermaid-ish as blue, so I built the look around Jaded.

I think that a simple change of lipstick would make this totally wearable for day to day. However, I wore this out with Blow because I really liked the effect. If you wanted to do this without the green, I think a soft coral or maybe OCC's Beta Lip Tar would suit it.
