I've been trying to make video tutorials for Youtube. The problem is that I'm a very anxious person and a perfectionist. So, I've recorded four-ish videos now that are never, ever going to be uploaded. I'm telling myself it's a learning process and for every mistake I make, that's one I won't have to make again. I hope.
For one of those ill-fated videos, I decided to do a smoked-out blue and silver eye using Sugarpill Velocity, Soot & Stars, and Tiara. I don't wear blue shadows very often because I feel that it might be a little too much blue with my hair. However, I really like the way this turned out and the effect it gives because of my hair.

I'm really happy with how this look turned out. I wish the video I recorded doing the tutorial had. I've recorded three videos since then, each with looks that went equally well. I think part of the video failure is shoddy equipment, so I've purchased some good lights and tripods and things. Hopefully soon I will have links to those and start basking in the glorious awfulness of abusive Youtube commenters. :/
